About us- ADI Training

ADI Training is part of 1st – 4 Driving Instruction, the training provider for The Big Red L Company and The Big Red Fleet Company. Driving instructor training and (ADI) approved driving instructor continual professional development (CPD) are at the core of our training. Graham Hooper ADI Dip DI Grade 6 is the founder and training director which started in 1994. The company have a simple philosophy based on your success being our success. We also can offer advanced driver training, intensive driver training, learner driving lessons and training for company car/van users through The Big Red L Company and The Big Red Fleet Company Ltd.

Our Company Statement

The core contribution of teaching driving instructors is to help to improve road safety by influencing driver behaviour so that learner drivers have the correct attitude and approach, combining this with defensive driving techniques. This will mean our driving instructors will help influence learner drivers to drive with care and a courteous attitute towards other road users and also be prepared to make allowances for other drivers mistakes through achieving the required standard as laid down by the Driving Standards Agency.

Driving Instructors who pass their test can be able to produce a standard of driving and teaching that fits the ethos of safe driving for life, this will include educating learner drivers in both the theory and practical aspects of safe driving, which will also include environmental issues and information on how to reduce road congestion.

Driving Instructors will also be encouraged to further their driving education by encouraging learner drivers as well as themselves to a view that driving is life long learning and does not stop the day they passed their driving test. The volume of traffic on today’s roads means that by adopting the correct attitude and by taking pride in your own driving will mean that this convenient means of transport remains both safe and enjoyable.
